We have just started learning to write appetising and tasty speeches. Today as a whole class we started to brainstorm reasons why homework should be made illegal, as Mrs Suangoon thought this would be a good reason to get everyone motivated about writing an interesting speech with strong viewpoints. Everyone had a clear point of view that homework should be illegal (of course!). Here are some of the introductions people have come up with...
"Darling can you put your lunch box on the bench for me please?" I reach into my school bag and feel inside it. Oh no I feel paper. I look inside, not again. I try to look like I have seen nothing. I quickly grab my lunchbox and put it on the bench and race to my bedroom and play with my toys. "Darling where is your homework?" And that is exactly why I think homework should be illegal.

Do you like homework? I didn't think so. Nobody does. Whoever invented homework must of been a goody two shoes. Because homework stinks like blue cheese. It should be illegal.

10x10 = 10. No, that is not right exactly. That proves my point. Homework is a nuisance because you work all day at school then they give you more like who does that? Teachers thats who. Thats why I believe homework should be illegal.

Who here likes homework? Not me, thats for sure. I would rather be attacked by a tiger than learn at home. I mean, come on we should only do work at school. And thats exactly why homework at CVPS should be illegal.

Have you ever wanted to know what it feels like to get home, put your feet up and relax and sit down in front of the telly and eat some delicious afternoon tea after an exhausting day at school? Well, let me tell you I have not ideas because as soon as I enter the house Mum yells "Do your homework" But I am sick of it. Its just a waist of time. So I believe homework should be illegal.
